GENERATOR OF ASTROPHYSICAL SOURCES STRUCTURES

The ability to predict line emission is crucial in order to make a reliable comparison with observations. The goal of modellings is always to derive the most accurately possible the physical properties of the source.

GASS (Generator of Astrophysical Sources Structures) is an user friendly interface that has been developed in order to easily define the physical structure of a star-forming

region and create input models for radiative transfer codes. Thanks to its interface, GASS allows to create, manipulate, and mix one or several different physical components such as spherical sources, disks, and outflows.

More informations about the code can be found in the GASS paper.
